MORE ABOUT THE ARTIST
For me, the intuitive application of paint comes in the form of trial and error as I attempt to express personal emotions and thoughts.
While viewing the works of abstract expressionists like deKooning and Rothko, I wonder what they were thinking as they painted.
“What concerns me when I work is not whether the picture is a landscape, or whether it’s pastoral, or whether somebody will see a sunset in it. What concerns me is – did I make a beautiful picture?” – Helen Frankenthaler
