About Bob Buck
Bob Buck is a photographer and graphic designer from Fort Plain, NY.
In 2006 his design was selected as the winner of the Route 20 Association of NYS Scenic Byway Logo Contest. In 2016 Bob won the Canson Award for Excellence in Art in Photography at the Cooperstown National Art Show for his photograph Birds on a Wire.
While Bob’s choice of subjects may be varied, his method of discovery is constant.
Whether it’s combing city streets seeking unique angles for architectural abstracts or searching abandoned houses and barns for glimpses of the past through what is left behind, Bob’s unending exploration yields an endless and diverse supply of previously unnoticed or undiscovered subjects.
Bob’s influences include his father as well as Edward Weston, W. Eugene Smith, Dorthea Lange, Vivian Maier, and Henry Cartier-Bresson.
