She hopes you enjoy these paintings. Any proceeds obtained from them will be donated to UNICEF.
Melinda began painting after retiring as she had always been intrigued with this art form and had no instruction in school.
She was amazed at what people could do and prior to retiring she was a little intimidated. With retirement, intimidation left and curiosity took over. She has thoroughly enjoyed trying a range of styles and mediums. She has been fortunate to have instruction from terrific teachers at Mohawk Valley Center for the Arts, Munson Williams Proctor Art Institute, The Fenimore Museum and particularly Giorgia Talarico.
She paints for the fun of it. Usually the paintings are based on places that she has been, so they evoke a happy memory.
